madmitch76 (34026) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JUN 1, 2019UPDATED: JUN 1, 2019 1st June 2019
Semi opaque dark amber brown beer, small pale tan head. Smooth light palate, modest fine carbonation. Mildly tangy malts, a little creamy caramel. Bouncy fruity whisky, smooth and tasty. Very mild spice. Just a bare whisper of something solvent like, really no issue. Ripe fruity whisky finish. Could do some damage here!

MrHangover (4691) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - MAY 29, 2017Bottle. Pours a clear dark brown beer with a quite small, creamy beige head on top. Aroma has lots of sugars, boozy notes, with the whisky notes hidden a bit more in the background. Flavor returns much of the Bunnahabhain for sure, silky soft and smooth, touch of sweetness with a touch of smoke in the back. Silky mouthfeel, gentle carbonation and long sweet aftertaste. Nice one!
Zlotta (7579) - Hagen, GERMANY - APR 25, 20170.33 l bottle from ’drankgigant.nl’, bottled in March 2015, cellared for almost two years. Dark brown to black with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly smoky and a bit fruity aroma of caramel, raisins, prunes, cherries, oak, tobacco and some peat. Rather sweet, malty, slightly yeasty, moderately smoky and a bit fruity taste of caramel, raisins, prunes, vanilla, peat, licorice root and some tobacco, followed by a long, moderately bitter, moderately peaty and very boozy, warming finish. Medium to full body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very complex stuff, smells really good, taste is a bit less especially because of all that booze.
mateuszk (2769) - Poznan, POLAND - APR 5, 2017Bottle. Bit overpowered with whisky (nice one though), it covers other flavours (some light caramel and toasted malts). Harsh alcohol in taste and with medium body - bit too watery in my opinion.
