   AROMA 9/10   APPEARANCE 4/5   TASTE 8/10   PALATE 3/5   OVERALL 15/20
young (45) - Georgia, USA - DEC 11, 2000
Great smell, like sour green apples and grain alcohol mixed together. Sour flavor with a nice alcohol warming, carbonated a little bit too much which made it a bit rough on the palatte, but overall a fine beer.

DraftDodger (5615) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JAN 5, 2022
UPDATED: JAN 5, 2022 Copenhagen 5/1 02. 34,1 cl bottle from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. A piece of land I assume is the end of the world on the label. Pours slightly dirty amber with a small white head. Stable. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Moderaste lacing. Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with alcohol and a slightly spicy scent. Sweet pale malts. Black pepper, cloves and sugar. Humid basement. Whiff of boozy alcohol. Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft yet lightly tingling texture. Flavor is medium intense with a strong sweetness followed by a light but notable bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a bitter undertone. Longers for a while. Finish is malty and boozy. A very solid take on a Belgian Triple from the yeasty charm to the sweet booze.

Raistlin (1668) - London, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 25, 2021
UPDATED: DEC 25, 2021 Pours orange with orange hue around it, like its glowing. Tiny white head that does not stay , but leaves lacing behind. Aroma of yeast. Taste of basement and yeast, well balanced. Soft carbonation with medium body.

UPDATED: NOV 4, 2021 Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 26C). Bottle 341 ml - Batch R04190913Q (BBF unknown). AROMA: medium-high esters (orange-like and pear drop) and slight phenols (clove). medium sweet malty background with some candy sugar notes. medium peppery alcohol. APPEARANCE: gold color and clear. medium-large white head, moussy, with lace formation. TASTE: initial medium-low pear-drop notes, followed by a medium grainy-sweet neutral malt background. balanced medium-high bitterness with a dry and faintly bitter finish. MOUTHFEEL: medium-high body with medium-high carbonation. alcoholic warmth. OVERALL: an average belgian-style triple.

Arbitrage411 (73) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 19, 2021
UPDATED: JUL 24, 2021 Luscious smooth off yellow burnt or dusty gold pour. Tiny bubbles form the head with slippery lacing. Citrus like clean and Forrest fresh aroma. Not a hoppy but on the sweeter side taste. Surprising effervescence on the tongue and palate, awakens the taste buds to “alert”. Balanced, like at the top of the Brewers masterwork. The bottle refermentation is captured and released in a burp. Spot on exhibits in depth. World class just like the first time tried as with each successive tasting, months later.

zubblwump (187) - Michigan, USA - APR 25, 2021
UPDATED: APR 25, 2021 Pours a little hazy amber with lots of carbonation and big light bubbly head Very sweet, somewhat dank aroma. More flavorful than I expected. The spice is a plus and the sour ending not as much. Very carbonated on the tongue. Not an expert on trippels, but this is both ok and not a repeat buy.

jwil (120) - Hatboro, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 13, 2021
UPDATED: MAR 13, 2021 Hazy golden color. Expansive white head. Grassy and hoppy on the nose. Full mouthfeel to this one. Kind of matted on the flavor. Something that lingers on the finish is off-putting. I haven't had a ton of trippels so that might be something I'm not used to. However, I've had at least a couple others and this one would fall as my least favorite out of those. The flavors are uninteresting to me. A bit of spice, maybe a bit of honey. Pass on another.

SylvainCFC (741) - Brussels, BELGIUM - DEC 19, 2020
