Moderate to heavy dark sweet flavor with a moderate to heavy dark sweet warming finish of medium to long duration. This is a standout beer.

Pours deep brown with a thin mocha brown head that has little retention or lacing. Starts with rich chocolate malt, caramel and some roasted malt flavors as well as having a rich, full body and slick, viscous mouthfeel. Finishes very smooth with sweet maple syrup and vanilla flavors. Nice imperial stout, but quite sweet.

Pours a deep, dark brown with amber edges and a finger of tan head that fades into almost nothing after a couple minutes. Vanilla, chocolate, and maple are all prominent here, prominent enough to push everything else down. Maybe some brown sugar, caramel, and roast there. Medium-plus bodied, with modest carbonation and a sticky, sweet mouthfeel. Good. I'd be interested to see what barrel aging does to this.

Fairly thick-bodied on the palate with creamy chocolate and vanilla followed by crisp kitkat wafer notes. Lingering choclate kitkat and maple. Really good.
