UPDATED: OCT 25, 2021 Crisp and very clear indigo and purple coloured body with a very thin, tan head that starts at a single centimetre tall but fades quickly and leaves a thin sliver on top. Aroma of strong soured, tart and funky bretty yeast with a lot of fruit elements, in the nose at least and a good touch of lactobilly notes, a hint of cream and caster sugar notes, but the scent is purely fresh, crisp and very fruity. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong blackberry and raspberry fruit flavours show at first with a lot of wheat and softer grains along with a dash of lemons and citrus fruit with some deep oranges noticeable and a light hit of the yeast and bretty notes with a very enjoyable fruit flavour, especially at the end with the tart and soured berries front and centre. Aftertaste shows a lot of fruit elements, with especially the blackberry and citrus flavours shining through but leaving a lot of tart notes, with a tiny dose of sweetness and almost no malts - this goes down very easily. Overall, a very nice and crisp beer with a lot of fresh fruits, but little malt and complexity make this a good beer for the summer or when you just want something very light. Nice to sample! I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Total Beverage in Thornton, Colorado on 08-May-2021 for US$1,82 sampled at my house in Washington on 24-October-2021.

UPDATED: MAR 19, 2021 12oz can picked up at Harmons. Pours clear light red/pink with a small off-white head, light lacing. Blackberries, lemon, lime, mild tart, metallic. Good

UPDATED: OCT 14, 2020 Can. Poured clear reddish/pink with a light pink head. Aroma of lemon, berries, sour fruits, mild metallic/medicinal. Taste was sweet, tart, sour, lemon, good sweet/sour/tartness but not a lot of berry/blackberry flavor, lemon overpowers.

UPDATED: JUL 15, 2020 (Fire On The Mountain-Wash Park) Clear golden appearance with a white head. Aroma of tart berries, lemon zest, mild lacto funk and light earthy notes. Similar flavor, fruity, zesty and tart with mild to moderate acidity and light sweetness. Light body with a refreshing finish.

UPDATED: SEP 4, 2019 Can. A- Berry, medicinal. A- Purple color, clear liquid, off white head. T- Sweet, berry, lemon, sour, slightly artificial. P- Light body, average texture, effervescent carbonation, sweet finish. O- Very sweet and a bit artificial tasting. Loads of berry but tasted more like a wine cooler or fruited cider. Not a fan.

Tap. Pours bright pink. Aroma and flavor are sharp lemon notes, faint blackberry, light wheat, and a dry finish. Light/medium body

UPDATED: MAY 17, 2019 Can poured a clear garnet with a small lasting off white head. Aromas of crackers, lemon, light blackberry and a hint of spice. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry tart finish. Flavors of straw, lemon and light blackberry with a crisp dry tart lingering lemon finish.

UPDATED: APR 14, 2019 Draft at the Colorado Room. Pours clear bright ruby with a fizzy light pink head. Tastes like tart lemon, berry, cracker malt, and faint herb. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like tart berry, lemon, cracker malt, and faint herb.

UPDATED: MAR 16, 2019 Draft. Pours a medium, well retained, pink white head, over a slightly hazy reddish (SRM 18) body......nose is blackberry, lemon, slight lactic acid sour tones, hints of malts......taste is blackberry, lemon, moderate sour acid tones, minor malts with hints of sweet tones, no hops.....mouth feel, medium light body, no alcohol, moderate carbonation. This is a pleasant beer with mild sour acid tones balanced by fruits. BJCP 9/3/13/4/7
