Draft at the brewpub. Poured a clear, medium-dark orange-amber color with a small slightly off-white head. Aroma was citrus with a little earthy, spicy hop character. Some little bitterness creeps in. Kind of your classic example of an old-school APA.

boto (2444) - Granby, Connecticut, USA - JUN 9, 2015
Draught @ Legacy location: This one pours a hazy, lighter coppery color. There was a thin white head that left some lacing. Good nose! Grapefruit, pineapple and a hint of pine. The taste is good. Just a bit bitter, with mainly grapefruit and pineapple hop flavors. Medium bodied. A good pale ale.

. Looks like this beer might have gotten better over the years. I thought this was a really well made APA. Not an over-the-top recipe but tasty with citrus hops and caramel malt. Plus a kinda unexpected fuller, creamy mouthfeel
