COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Its base of peated and chocolate malts, gives it a deep and brown look. Wood and chocolate aromas refreshed with a slight acidity and marked astringency followed by subtle notes of caramelized bourbons.

Defreni (4870) - Husum, DENMARK - JUL 30, 2021
UPDATED: JUL 30, 2021 Flaske: Brunrød let diset øl med et fint skumhoved. Duften er kastanje med let tørret frugt. Smagen er interessant anderledes igen med kastanje. Anderledes men alligevel typisk belgier.

yerffoeg (788) - Dinant, BELGIUM - DEC 4, 2020

ryanhunter_4 (794) - Strathmore, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 8, 2019
UPDATED: DEC 8, 2019 12 oz bottle poured at home. Day 7 of the craft beer advent calendar. Pours murky brown like iced tea. Smells like chocolate and smoke. Tastes malty with a smoky slight boozy finish. Not bad but a lot of different things going on here.

robinvboyer (6570) - Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 7, 2019
UPDATED: DEC 7, 2019 Bottle. Dark brown pour with a large beige head. Aroma is sweet caramel, bready, and peat. Mouth feel is creamy, and silky, with a soft carb. Finish is medium bitter, lots of peat, soft smoke and sweet, syrupy, yeasty breadiness.

Syfher (1218) - Brussels, BELGIUM - OCT 9, 2019
UPDATED: OCT 9, 2019 Bottle of 33cl, in a Tulip glass; from the fridge. A good dark ember Triple, with a nice aroma and taste of roasted malts. The taste also has notes of nuts and sweet taste, such as a Magma. A really nice discovery !

Jerre (5574) - Deerlijk, BELGIUM - SEP 17, 2018
Geproefd samen met en bij William R. op 11 september 2018. (fles gekocht op Zythos Bier Festival '18). Wazig donkeramber lichtbruin bier met medium lichtbeige kraag die minder stabiel is. Aroma: zacht gerookte mout, chocolade, houtig, tikje vanille, karamel. Medium body. Smaak: zoet, zacht gerookte mout, karamel, chocolade, klein beetje vanille, bittertje, en alcoholwarme toets. Smaakvol bruintje ! Voor ons de beste van deze 3 Valduc bieren die we na elkaar proefden.
