nathanvc (4147) - Gent, BELGIUM - OCT 3, 2021UPDATED: OCT 3, 2021 At Baptist, Wondelgem. Clear yellow, small, frothy, white head. Aroma of lemon, wheat, air freshener, coriander, banana candy, soap (lavender!). Taste has sweetish apple, plum & banana, sugary, doughy, with coriander & wheat creating a messy, soapy whole in the back, further 'enhanced' by spicy coriander. Floral hoppy finish, still very wheaty & soapy and even leaning towards sweet 'wort'. Medium body, slick texture, average carbonation. Stylewise not as bad as the Baptist IPA (which is not an IPA at all) but hard to swallow as a Witbier in itself.
