La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il colore è scuro impenetrabile. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è contenuto. La forza gustativa è molto elevata. La continuità gustativa è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è intenso. Sul palato si riportano indizi di miele, crosta di panettone, frutta secca, agrumi, erbe aromatiche, uvetta bagnata nel rum, mandorla fresca, cuoio, rabarbaro, vino rosso, vaniglia e legno.

UPDATED: JUL 10, 2021 Bottle from Mitra in Gorinchem, The Netherlands. The beer is dark brown oclored with a stable creamy foam. Carbonation is good. The aroma is malts, roasted malts, caramel, dried fruits, light chocolate and spices. The taste is full bodied and sweet with caramel and dried fruits and goes to pleasant bitterness with yeast, roasted and spices. The finish is light dry, bitter and with some warming alochol.

UPDATED: JUL 2, 2021 Chestnut brown with a big head. For me a dubbel 2.0. more bitter, more roasted and not as sweet.

Aroma is roasted, malty, caramel, braced caramel, brown sugar, alcohol. Unbalanced sweet and alcoholic impression, warm and solid palate, intence oily texture, long aged, yeasty and sugary final.

UPDATED: NOV 22, 2020 Heel donkerbruine kleur, mooie kraag. Ruikt en smaakt licht metalig als het koud is. Beter even laten opwarmen dan ruikt en smaakt het beter. Caramel, brood, gebrande mout.
