ganache (6721) - New Jersey, USA - OCT 26, 2021
UPDATED: OCT 26, 2021 12oz can from WW. Nose is excellent, tangy guava met by muskier tropical notes (some might say mango but I've never agreed). Pour very slightly hazy yellow-golden with a large and foamy bright white head, eventual tiers of lace. Taste medium-sweet with light-meddum tang, a very pleasant combination, backed by lots of soft wheat and warm, soft bread. Lemon spritzing there in the background, too, gives lightness and brightness to an otherwise solid medium body, touch scratchy but really not bitter at all, not even any pith. Nor is there any sign of alcohol. Some generic, yeast-driven fruitiness behind the wall of tasty guava, but crisp and clean, leaning tripel more than wit, love it all around. [2021.10.25: 3.7]

FROTHINGSLOSH (11821) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 31, 2021
UPDATED: MAY 31, 2021 Hazy yellow gold with a large foamy head. Tart & tangy with tropical fruit and yeast. Medium length finish. Moderately full bodied. Quite pleasant

milewide (2648) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - APR 1, 2021
UPDATED: APR 1, 2021 Medium tart. Cloudy golden color. Fruit flavor is a muddle. Low ABV of 4.9% does make it a session ale.

cheap (7939) - Land of Taxes, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 20, 2021
UPDATED: FEB 20, 2021 Can for 2 bucks. Pour is very light pale with a slight haze. Lots of visibly carbonation. Nose is odd fruit body odor laced with metal can. Taste has a hint of guava in there but the tart feeling covers most of it. Grapefruit attitude emerges in the middle. Decent co2 palate, comes across rather crisp. Different yet difficult but the tart attitude keeps it interesting. Unique and somewhat acceptable.

jbruner (8524) - Lakewood, California, USA - NOV 2, 2020
UPDATED: NOV 2, 2020 Pours a hazy golden yellow from the can with dense white foam that dissipates slowly to leave moderate lace. Aroma of tart lactic acidity with big fruity guava notes and a touch of stone fruit Belgian esters behind. Taste follows, fruit isn't over the top, acidity is in check, good balance and way more crushable than the other monkeys from Victory.

nuplastikk (8158) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 1, 2020
UPDATED: NOV 1, 2020 12oz can. A rather pleasant, well done kettle sour. Guava flavor works well, complementing the natural sour tones, not fully drenching it in candy artificiality..just a little. Pleasant aroma, nice mouthfeel. Good for the style.

Shag (3519) - Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA - OCT 4, 2020
UPDATED: OCT 4, 2020 A murky golden color with a large white head. The aroma is very tropical with some guava, coconut, and citrus. The flavor has a sweet tropical fruit element but also a sour citrus one. This is very nice if not complex. Next time you visit a beach bring this!

Brigadier (4590) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 30, 2020
UPDATED: SEP 30, 2020 12 ounce can Picked up on a whim this playful vibrant session beer brought joy to a chilly fall evening. It has been a while since I revisited Victory but this brings back positive memories of a solid East Coast brewery. If you are lucky to have access to their full catalog consider yourself fortunate. AROMA / APPEARANCE Peach Jolly Ranchers, soft grapefruit, and a sour tang compete with the tropical undercurrents for attention. The balanced nose rises upwards from the cloudy peach base. FLAVOR / PALATE Tangy grapefruit, peach, and cool melon introduce themselves softly. A short burst of brut champagne eases into the mellow sour finish. A fruity American sour brings delight from start to finish. A six pack of this would be very popular at a gathering.

Drake (18900) - Appleton, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 9, 2020
UPDATED: SEP 9, 2020 12 ounce can from Niemuth's, 9/8/20. Hazy pale orange, large foamy white head, good retention. Aroma of pale malt, peach, guava, peach pits. Funky. Taste is guava, passionfruit, peach, pale malt. Medium bodied, juicy, lingering tartness.

UPDATED: AUG 8, 2020 Yuck! Way to tart for my me. Tone it down and just maybe it would pass muster.
