UPDATED: OCT 17, 2021 Nose with hint of nutmeg and pumpkin pie spice. Flavor is spice and wheat hops. Nutty malt palate with hint of orange finish.

UPDATED: JUN 20, 2021 It pours cloudy orange-yellow with an off white head. Head retention is good. It has a flowery type aroma with coriander and orange. There is a hint of honey in the background. It is grainy sweet with orange and coriander. The flowery elements are lighter the flavor with a very light tartness and earthly element. It has a medium light body with high carbonation.

UPDATED: APR 29, 2021 12 oz bottle. Pours a pale gold with a fast dissipating white head. Interesting smells of yeast and barnyard. Citrus yeast and wit flavors with some bubblegum and a tart finish. Fizzy mouthfeel with astringency and nice overall balance. You can tell it’s American but it paid attention to Belgium.

UPDATED: APR 17, 2021 12 ounce bottle. Hazy yellow gold color. Frothy white head. Tangy wheat malt aroma. Just a hint of citrus peel as well. Sweet citrus flavor upfront. Orange and grapefruit as advertised. Wheat malt and coriander in middle. Light dry finish.

UPDATED: FEB 24, 2021 Pale yellow color pour with a white head. Citrus aroma with orange peel and Grapefruit along with coriander. Light and clean.

UPDATED: MAR 12, 2019 Tad above average beer and for the style. Just not a big fan of wheats and this one not really standing out. Wanted to get Victory's Summer Love again after trying it last year, but saw this along with a new review. Summer Love is better IMO. Whirlwind is cloudy medium-pale yellow. Tastes wheaty...the Hoegaarden kind though and not the hoppier American Wheat like I prefer. Glad I split this with my brother-in-law as I'll be going with other summer beers for the season.

From Jul 2007 Purchased at Wilbur's Liquors in Ft Collins as part of a mixed 6 Pack. This pours from 12oz bottle(Best by Apr 30 08) a cloudy yellow with a small head of foam. Not much is left after a few minutes other than a ring around the edge of my glass and some lacing. The smell is of yeast and citrus and wheat and clove and banana. It's not a bit shy on the nose. ;^) The taste is big and citrusy up front with flavours of clove and some banana but it all works up front only..the flavours fall off quickly midway through and it finishes really watery. If at least some of the flavour lasted, I'd have liked it more. Pretty disappointing for me and I'll not revisit this brew.
