200ml bottle from Bliznetsy in Moscow. Pours clear amber with a small white head. Aroma is vanilla, booze, honey. Taste is heavy sweet, alcohol, barrel, vanilla. Overly sweet and boozey to be enjoyable.

Aromat owocowy. Bardziej suszone owoce i czerwone niż świeże. Jest też nuta ostra, lekko alkoholowa. W smaku lekko alkoholowe, ale nie jest nieprzyjemne. Nie jest złe, ale nie przypomina mi innych barley wine, które piłem. Bardziej jak nisko wysycony strong lager. Brakuje mu typowej dla stylu gęstości. I za wysokie wysycenie.

Bottle. Pours clear golden amber with no real head. Aroma has heavy alcohol, vanilla, honey, sweet caramel malts. Low carbonation, fine dry and oily mouthfeel. Flavour has lots of sweet caramel, vinious, sharp alcohol, sticky sweet and sharp alcohol.

UPDATED: MAY 22, 2017 In Gdansk gekauft und aus der Flasche getrunken. Sehr malzige Nase und überstark dominierender Alkohol. Stil verfehlt. Auf Grund des hohen Preises (ca. 2,20? für 0,2l) nix für Trinker. Und für Kenner und Geniesser schon gar nicht.

Because of the low ratings and high abv. was expecting a sort of turbo-beer, somewhat disgusting, but what I find is nowhere near as bad. The main thing that is sticky is not only sweetness but negative ratings too, nonsens repitition in other words. Im not sure i would enjoy this beer a lot more if this has smoky and ashy and all the barrel stuff included. Well, perhaps a little but not by a large margin. This here on the other hand is plain, a good way to learn what is the difference between added trickery and a beer without.

Golden color with a white head, good lacework. Aroma has notes of yeast, some honey, little sourness and dry white wine. Flavor has a mild presence of malts, alcohol almost present with some sourness. Light final with slightly bitterness on palate.

Krasses Zeug, das ich beinahe für einen Met gehalten hätte. Sehr malzig, sehr derb und muffig. Geht so.
