COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Particularly fond of Kiwi and American hops, it is our pleasure to offer you this highly aromatic Double IPA, notably in the tropical fruits and citrus universes. Its lean malts and moderate bitterness accentuate its drinkability, while letting the big screen to its 16 grams of hops per liter!

robinvboyer (6570) - Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 14, 2021
UPDATED: AUG 14, 2021 Can from the lcbo. Hazy orange pour, with a medium white head. Floral aroma, candied tropical notes, caramel, seems a bit stale. Very bitter, sweet, candied citrus notes, and maraschino cherries.

Oakes (26757) - Gibsons, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 9, 2021
UPDATED: AUG 9, 2021 Opaque with chunks. Dull look to it. Thick head. On the nose, the hops are a bit stale, but still showing a little pineapple, allium. Full body, touch of alcohol in the finish, moderate bitterness, and the same hop character.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver, tag 19 02 21, 5 months old
Blond colour, chill haze (mostly clean), medium sized head. Delicate aroma of fruit salad, peach, pineapple, very light vanilla. Lean body, it has just some minimal residual sweetness; the malt profile is without description, there's a sourish malt note out of place; the hopping is mostly about bitterness (it states 100 IBU) than aromatic components, indeed there's just some bitter citrus peel, no juice, no tropical. Maybe it lost quality since it's 5 months old. Ok beer.

GlennHendry (1029) - OSHAWA, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 27, 2021
UPDATED: JUL 27, 2021 Smells sweet and fruity. Orange candy, pineapple and lots of resiny goodness. Bit of piney bitterness at the finish but doesn't taste like 100 IBUs.

ZayZay (450) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 9, 2020
UPDATED: NOV 9, 2020 Canette. Robe dorée, voilée, peu scintillante. Fine mousse blanche temporaire.

Niall73 (2621) - Ontario, CANADA - OCT 16, 2020
UPDATED: OCT 16, 2020 Can from LCBO. Pours a slightly hazy orange gold with a white head. Aroma is sweet, with honey, marmalade, light rubber, pine, over-ripe trop fruit, caramel... Medium body, medium carbonation... There's booze, metal, orange, lemon, pine, honey, wood, pineapple, candy, though the flavours are quite subdued. Bitter, slightly metallic finish. A bit disappointing, really.

Excalibur123 (670) - Soria, SPAIN - SEP 28, 2020

AleRider78 (2690) - Winchester, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 12, 2020
UPDATED: AUG 12, 2020 Small can from LCBO. Pours an average size frothy off-white head, good retention, thick patchy, dirty lacing. Has a hazy orangey coloured appearance, slightly murky. Lively carbonation. Aromas of tropical fruits (pineapple mainly) some subtle citrus and piney notes. Flavours are very fruity, pineapple being most predominant, lots of citrus notes. Some bitterness in the finish, but not as much as expected especially at 100ibu's, the fruity sweetness seems to cut it down a bit. Quite good overall.

JoeMcPhee (11573) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 8, 2020
UPDATED: MAY 8, 2020 Deep orange pour with a thick white head. The aroma has a bit of sweet orange peel, some sweet malt and a touch of honey and orange. Pretty nice. Full bodied and rich with a nice balance of malt and hops.
