dragnet101 (2331) - Birmingham, West Midlands, ENGLAND - OCT 29, 2021UPDATED: OCT 29, 2021 Bottle from Waitrose, Solihull.
Pours a clear amber with small off-white head, some lacing.
Aroma of sweet toasty malts, caramel, light resinous hop, metal.
Taste has a nice bittersweet balance with caramel, bread, nuts, spice. Light bodied along with the pasteurisation may mean it lacks a bit of character and depth once you get past the initial flavour.
Still its quite a tasty bitter.

Alex60 (1070) - - APR 11, 2021UPDATED: APR 11, 2021 Canette 50 cl- couleur ambrée mousse blanche qui ne tient pas goût sur le caramel, pain, une pointe de sucre, douce
SourRater43 (52) - - APR 4, 2021UPDATED: APR 4, 2021 Poured from a can. Pours standard amber ale with large head. Aroma standard bitter, bread and hops. Taste- malt, standard bitter hops and more malt and that damp depressing note all Wadworth beers have. Not good at all, very dour and depressing to drink. A BSB- Bog Standard Bitter. These type of bitters feel like a chore to drink, a throwback to the 1970s. Brewers that rely on their own pub chains like Wadworth’s are in big trouble financially and may not survive much longer, and in terms of beer they would be no great loss. In fact Wadworth’s are not popular even in Wiltshire, my friends there prefer Doom Bar or Speckled Hen on tap to this.

Beese (12774) - Tooting, London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 22, 2019UPDATED: DEC 25, 2019 500ml bottle from Tesco, Watford and drunk on 26/10/2005. I used to really like this on cask, back in the day. The bottle version was better than many other pasteurised versions, but not as nice as the cask.
LittleShit (235) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 16, 2019UPDATED: MAR 16, 2019 500ml can. A darker amber with a film white head. A brown bread, rolo, toffee metallic aroma. Really lacks depth. This or doom bar, it’s the latter everyday of the week. Meh.
