UPDATED: SEP 22, 2020 12 oz. can purchased at Total Wine - The Rim, San Antonio, TX. Pours a cloudy dark amber color with a khaki head and decent retention. No lacing. Pumpkin spices aroma. Tastes like a standard pumpkin beer but with a little less spice and a little more caramel malt flavor. Medium body and a flat mouthfeel. A nice fall beer.

UPDATED: NOV 19, 2019 Pours a copper color. One finger white head. Reduces to a film, but okay lacing.

Aroma is spice, not necessarily pumpkin anything. Nutmeg? Malt.

Taste is pumpkin pie spice. Light. Pie crust.

Mouthfeel is light bodied. Watery.

Overall, it’s not so good. Too watery. A little too weak. I wouldn’t recommend it and wouldn’t buy it again.

Got in a trade with The-Adjunct-Hippie. 12 ounce nitro can into pint glass, best before 1/18/2018. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy medium orange/amber color with a 1 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, brown sugar, gingerbread, light caramel, and herbal earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of pumpkin, spices, and bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, brown sugar, gingerbread, light caramel, and herbal earthiness. Very mild herbal/spice bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, brown sugar, gingerbread, light caramel, and herbal earthiness on the finish for a while. Good balance and solid robustness of pumpkin, spices, and bready malt flavors; with a good malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and no cloying sweetness after the finish. Minimal dryness. Light carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, fairly creamy/bready/grainy, and slightly sticky mouthfeel that is okay. Very thin/watery feeling finish. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4%. Overall this is a very solid session pumpkin ale. All around good balance and solid robustness of pumpkin, spices, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink. Nice pumpkin fruit presence for the style, but underwhelming otherwise. A fairly enjoyable offering.

Bitterbill (2959) - Casper, Wyoming, USA - OCT 18, 2017
From Dec 2006 Poured from 12oz bottle a hazy orange gold with a small head of foam that shrank quickly leaving a just some spotting on the surface. It *does* have some nice lacing to it though. The smell is very pumpkin like with hints of nutmeg a cinnamon. The taste at first sip is a mix of the spices I noted in the nose along with a bit of sourness in the background. Further sips see no change so it's a consistant taste that I'm sensing. Pretty good. The only negative I can say is that the finish is very watery. Bottom line: A nice brew for the season that is interesting enough to warrant a try. Thanks to Wastach for this ample!

Nitro pour at BitterCreek. Clear and crisp, thick creamy head. Not normally a fan of this style, as it tends to rely heavily on the spice, this one takes more of the pumpkin. Earthy aroma and taste, butternut and pumpkin flavors. Mild bitterness. Super creamy consistency. More fruit (pumpkin) than spice. Well sone!

Another subpar overly spiced garbage IPA. Sweet and unbalanced, spices dominate and take over everything but sweetness.

Light amber color with a diminishing, beige head. Definitely has all the pumpkin pie spices covered: ginger, cloves and cinnamon are all accounted for. Hints of pumpkin and dough. If you like spices, you should enjoy the scent. Sweet flavors with vanilla and cream. Dry bitterness in the finish. A near dessert type brew, albeit not a lot of heft. I could see this on the table during the holidays. 7/11

Clear amber and copper coloured body with a faint tan head, about a centimetre tall. Aroma of squash, allspice, coriander seed, grain and a bit of brown sugar. Light to perhaps Medium-bodied; Strong spice and squash flavour with some light sweetness and a touch of funk along with some yeast and bready characteristics. Aftertaste shows some lighter spice flavours, a touch of caramel and a very light grain and malt flavour with no squash or larger body at all. Overall, a good spice-based beer that is very light and easy-to-drink. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Cash Wise Liqours in Minot, North Dakota on 04-October-2016 for US$10,99/six pack sampled at home in Upstate (New Paltz), New York on 24-November-2016.

Bottle - Pours an amber-orange with thin white head. Aroma of pumpkin, medium roasted malts/ pie crust, nutmeg, cinnamon. Flavors of pumpkin pie in a bottle. Pie crust, nutmeg, cinnamon, they’re all there. Mild hops and a floral finish. Very pleasant.
