UPDATED: JAN 23, 2021 500ml bottle. This sat in my refrigerator for years. Surprisingly, it hold up rather well for what it is. Pretty much drinks like fruit juice. A little funky and odd but sort of delicious too, delicate fruity sweetness instead of sour dry tang. Refreshing. Not unlike old school fruit beers, but with the currant twist. OK.

UPDATED: FEB 3, 2019 500ml bottle from St Jovite SAQ (as Black & Red Currant Fruit Beer). Pours a murky rhubarb colour with soapy pinkish head. Aroma is candyish with sour cherry, red currant and grains. Flavour has cherry drop, red currant and some graininess. Average body. Ok.

500ml bottle. (As Black & Red Currant Fruit Beer) Pours a hazy red-amber with a medium, foamy, long lasting, pale pink head that laces nicely. Sweet fruity aroma of bready caramel malt, currants, cherries and candy. Sweet fruity flavour of grainy caramel malt, currants, muddled berries and sugar with floral hops in a tart finish. Light body with a creamy, smooth texture and soft carbonation. A tasty and well made fruit beer.

500ml bottle pours a rich red color with a finger of white head that leaves no lacing on the glass. Aroma is currants with some malts. Taste is a currant tartness with a light fruity and malty sweetness. Light bodied with good carbonation. Overall, a decent fruit beer.

500ml bottle. Beryr pour. Aroma and flaovr of currants and a bit of beer, not as bad as thier other fruit beers.
