UPDATED: JUN 22, 2021 Bottle, as Waterloo Double Dark. Dark red with a beige foam, caramel, a little liquorice, coffee and toast. Sweet and rather gassy, slightly thin, boozy, not bad but could do with more body.

UPDATED: MAY 13, 2021 As Waterloo double dark. Clear almost black color with large tanned head. Aroma has dark malt, chocolate and hay. Taste is malty sweet with long sweet aftertaste. Flavors of caramel, dark malt, chocolate, ripe fruits and spices.

UPDATED: DEC 4, 2020 Nose. Fruits, spices, yeast, notes of caramel and chocolate. Taste. Sweetish, dried fruit, caramel, fried notes. hop bitterness and caramel notes in the aftertaste. Good balance of everything in taste and aroma. Nice dark ale, but slightly commercial.

UPDATED: NOV 7, 2020 Lightly fruity aroma with sugar and a little alcohol. Dried fruit and caramel flavour, with burnt sugar and a little too much booze coming through, nicely complex though. Body is little thinner than it should be. Nice overall

UPDATED: AUG 14, 2020 Donkerbruin tegen het zwarte bier, met een beige schuimkraag. Metaalgeur waarneembaar. Voornamelijk in eerste instnatie zoetig, moutig en in de afdronk komt de bitterheid. Met name koffiesmaak en caramel.

UPDATED: JUL 4, 2020 Dark amber/brown color, light unclear aspect with creamy nut/beige head of long resistance. Sweet and roasted aroma, notes of caramel, braced caramel, dark bread, resin, dark berry. Moderate mellow and creamy mouth, much sweet impression, long alcoholic and caramel. final.
