blueruin (749) - Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 5, 2018Cardamom and rose do come through in this stout, with a touch of cinnamon, but other than that it's pretty forgettable.
Onesimus (114) - Nottinghamshire, ENGLAND - JAN 9, 2018UPDATED: FEB 19, 2019 Really disappointed ridiculously over carbonated for a gloopy beer. I had to stop pouring as it gushed over the glass rim. I ended up pouring what was left into a pint glass.
Really dark chocolate coloured beer with a huge creamy mocha coloured head.
The aroma is rather delicate and difficult shall I say it’s unusual but has a medicinal odour. There’s a cardamom and rose bouquet coming through but despite its flirting doesn’t entice me.
The flavours are as the nose and are bold enough to stand up and give an opinion but it wasn’t worth listening to. The follow through is a little spicy and surprisingly there’s a light sourness which becomes a little bitter. In the end it’s more like the aftertaste of sucking a cough drop.
First Weird Beard beer if didn’t like.

martpez (732) - Norwich, Norfolk, ENGLAND - NOV 15, 2017Smells delicious but when it comes to actual flavour its is bitter earthy and forgetable over floral and the spices make it bitter and powdery more then anything else. Okay but promised more.
