UPDATED: JUN 28, 2020 Bottle from Beerwulf. Aroma is coriander, candied fruits, citrus, lemon, spicy notes, salt, soft wheat. Flavour is not sour but fairly sweet, which is a bad thing for a so-called Gose. Salty as well. Body is light to medium. More like a salted Witbier than a Gose.

TorbenJensen (1877) - Valby, DENMARK - MAY 7, 2020
UPDATED: MAY 7, 2020 Then I go for a beer type I've never tasted before, namely Gose. Gose is brewed at a minimum of 50% wheat malt and fermented with regular beer yeast as well as lactose bacteria. In addition, it is brewed with lightly salted water, which should give a dry and crisp wheat beer with a sour taste. Badisch Gose certainly lives up to these expectations. It has moderate foam, very pale yellow color with large yeast residues floating around in the beer. The aroma is limited to a little coriander and a little yeast. The taste, on the other hand, is very finely composed of wheat malt, coriander, citrus and a little salt. It is an easy-to-drink beer, but if you taste good, it actually has many good flavors of the aforementioned ingredients. The acidity I expected was somewhat higher, but it is actually really well integrated in this Gose that it is not too sour in the aftertaste. It gives space to its spicy and slightly malt-sweet taste as it has. The aftertaste is dry and as a whole it is very refreshing and indeed very tasty. It is definitely an elegant summer beer, if you do not expect the fullness of malt sweetness and hops. I think I might be a bit of a fan of Gose and I am already looking forward to tasting several of the same type.

UPDATED: MAR 13, 2020 Bottle 33cl. from Rewe supermarket, Herzogenrath @home poured into a tumbler. Cloudy yellow golden, good frothy white head, good retention and lacing. Light sourish nose, aroma wheat, yeast, lemon, coriander notes, bit lactic. Fresh taste, medium sweet, light sour, slightly bitter, yeast, wheat, lemon, coriander notes. Medium body, watery texture, soft carbonation, light sweet aftertaste, light orange pith, pinch of salt, mineral notes, not your typical gose, bit radlerlike in a sense, but refreshing and easy to drink, nice.

UPDATED: FEB 29, 2020 Kolor słomkowy, klarowny. Piana biała, wysoka i trwała. Bardzo ładnie oblepia szklankę. W aromacie pszenica, kolendra, siano, lekka kwaśność, odrobina nut drożdżowych i ziemistych. Smak bardzo delikatny, ponownie pszenica i kolendra, siano i akcenty ziemiste, sól bardzo minimalnie, chmiel w ilościach znikomych. Wysycenie wysokie, nadaje rześkości. Ciało średnie do niskiego. Aftertaste krótki pszeniczny.

UPDATED: NOV 19, 2019 Many thanks for this beer from Baden to Koelschtrinker. Alez dziwne to gose, za mało kwaśne, a za bardzo slone, cale szczęście ze do obiadu nie solilem polendwicy ani marchewki z groszkiem. Usta by mi chyba popekaly i była by to krwista poledwica. No ale do rzeczy. Meczace piwo.

Aspinea (1) - - OCT 27, 2019 does not count
UPDATED: OCT 27, 2019 Big disappointment. If I had wanted anything as mercilessly bitter as that, I'd have bought an IPA or Pilsener. This completely lacks the sourness that defines Gose. Smells nice, tastes terrible.
