UPDATED: JUL 26, 2019 Can shared by Tom, thanks! Pours near black with a tan head that dissipates to the edges quickly. Aroma has coffee and maple with a bit of cinnamon, roasted malts and a hint of dark grains. Flavor has bitter coffee and maple with some sweet dark grains and a hint of cinnamon.

UPDATED: MAR 2, 2019 Can from J&K Liquors. Pours black, with a small, fleeting, tan head. The aroma is coffee, caramel, cinnamon, vanilla, and chocolate milk. Sweet and roasty, with a mild bitterness. Heavy body, with a thick, smooth, and chewy mouthfeel. This is an aggressive, coffee-forward stout. Not as sweet and decadent as I was expecting, but tasty.

Can thanks to Chow. Pours a cloudy brown with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is strong maple, vanilla, cinnamon. Slick body, similar flavors to nose, very sweet, very good.

Heavy deep brown pour with a thin foamy light khaki head. Lovely aroma of fresh sumptuous dark coffee, maple sweetness, a touch of creamy vanilla and bittersweet dark chocolate. Deep roasty flavor that’s semifull and tempered by cocoa and coffee and a light sweetness. Nice mellow finish that’s gentle on the coffee and maple and cinnamon. Very well done and not super rich.

On tap at the brewery. Black appearance with a small brown head. Aroma of chocolate malt, maple syrup, mild cinnamon, mild coffee, light roast and light sugary notes. Similar flavor, rich, malty and complex with moderate sweetness and a light bitterness. Medium body with a smooth feel and a lingering sweet/coffee/cinnamon finish. Nice!

UPDATED: SEP 20, 2018 On draft at the brewery it is a milkchocolate brown color with a tan head. The Aroma is coffee and milk chocolate. The taste is a combo of sweet cocoa and some bitter roast.

UPDATED: SEP 15, 2018 Tap at brewery during RMBT. Murky black with small white head. Terrific aroma, heavy in coffee. Rich, sugar, maple, some spice late. A great dessert beer. Well done
