UPDATED: AUG 8, 2021 RBSG 2017. Pours black with a nice tan head. Intense maple and coffee aromas. Reminds me of Great Notion Double Stack. Lots of coffee, some Kahlua, vanilla, and sweet maple syrup. A bit of roasted malt and plenty of dark chocolate. Very sweet beer... the aroma is a bit more enjoyable than the taste. Light coffee bitterness on the finish is the only real semblance of balance.

Bottle. Pours a pitch black in color, thick viscous body. Low carbonation. Aroma of dark chocolate malts, fresh coffee beans, maple syrup… Flavor is rich and decadent, sticky mouthfeel, loads of maple and coffee throughout, dark chocolate, lingering maple syrup sweetness on finish. UPDATED: APR 18, 2021 Imperial pint can, 2019 vintage. Rich roasted malt aroma with notes of chocolate, maple, vanilla and coffee. Pours deep brown with a thin mocha brown head that has little retention and little lacing. Starts with rich roasted malt, chocolate and vanilla flavors as well as having a rich, full body and slick, viscous mouthfeel. Finishes very smooth with maple and coffee flavors that linger on the palate after each sip. Decadent and delicious with the coffee balanced very well.

UPDATED: MAR 21, 2021 Black with almost no head. Aroma of big maple with chocolate, moderate to low coffee and roast. Full bodied, maple and chocolate dominate, light coffee flavors, lightly warming, lightly sweet. Solid.

Taste is coffee sticky maple syrup oats grain malts toasted malts toasted bread roasted malts roasted barley cocoa nibs coffee cappuccino mocha and oak. Overall, quite big flavors. Maple syrup and coffee dominate.
