Bacchus66 (2142) - South Carolina, USA - JAN 25, 2020UPDATED: JAN 25, 2020 Draft at the source, 2019 re-release. Pours dark brown, nearly black, with a lasting thin brown head. Bourbon and coconut nose with chocolate, bourbon, vanilla, still plenty of coconut flavor for a 4-yr old (the re-infusion talking), still plenty of habanero. Chocolate is sweeter here than the 2014, but not overly so and the beer overall remains well balanced. Low carb, full body. Lingering heat with cinnamon, cocoa and coconut. Big, beautiful, delicious.

jbruner (8524) - Lakewood, California, USA - MAR 23, 2018UPDATED: JUN 8, 2018 Hunahpu's Day 2018! Listed as the 'Double Coconut Edition'. It's a big stout with lots of the barrel, but enough balls to back it up, and then you throw an ass ton of toasted coconut at it and it becomes this German chocolate thing. Pastry stout, wooh. It's good, but I'm getting fatigued by this, but whale chasers will never let this style die, too many newbs.
neongolden (3888) - Quebec City, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 15, 2017(Tap sample @ CBC 2016 Green Session, Copenhagen) Nose is rich fudgey chocolate cake, hefty coconut, full bourbon barrel notes of whiskey, vanilla, charred wood. Flavour is dark chocolate and chocolate cake dough, sweet coconut, bourbon, vanilla, light wood, rather sweet and fudge-like overall, but with ample drying provided by above average chili pepper heat on the back, lightly smoky and amplifying the slightly bitter roast in the back end. Aftertaste is dry and chili-forward with lingering chocolate, coconut and spirits. Quite full bodied and softly carbonated. Beautifully rich but not a sugar bomb, if anything I found the chili slightly overbearing balance-wise in terms of blowing out the long finish. A really good stout.

hackobock (4073) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - SEP 20, 2017May 14, 2016. On tap at CBC, green session.
Black with a small brown head. Aroma is lots of toasted coconuts with a good amount of dark chocolate, caramel, bourbon, burnt wood, spicy notes of cinnamon, some vanilla and fruity peppers in the back. Medium sweet with a light chili heat, smooth bitterness. Medium to full bodied, soft carbonation, creamy texture. Finish has a nice chili bite that increases as it warms but never gets too intense, toasted coconut coming, smooth roasted bitterness, nice malty sweetness with a bourbon kick.
Very nice.
