Pours a nice golden straw color. No strong malt or hop presence. This is all about the sour. Has a nice naturally fermented, lactose sourness to it. Refreshing. Light and crisp with a sour, dry finish. A good example of the style but not a stand out. and at 3.9% definitely a session beer ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Very light colored beer with the white head. Was sour but not as sour as sour as a lot of sour beers. Drinkable. I ordered a goes instead which was less sour. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Crystal clear copper and light bronze coloured body with a very fast-dying tan head that fades incredibly fast. Aroma of sour vinegar, a touch of apples and pears, some light citrus notes and some very mild malts - not too much going on though, aside from the more astringent vinegar. Light-bodied; Subdued grainey and wheatie flavour with some very light citrus and pear flavours around with a bit of raisins and light plums around and some more fresh wheat flavour and a dose of pure caster sugar near the end. Aftertaste is incredibly mild with only some light malts, a touch of the vinegar and grain and a little dry, cleanser like flavour near the very end. Overall, a mild and very subdued beer with some vinegar and lightly soured notes complete with some grain and light malts, but nothing large at all. A decent beer, but nothing complex nor worth going out of your way for - a decent beer and one with relatively good character for the style and ABV, but just simple and easy. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Whole Foods in Foggy Bottom (Eye Street, NorthWest) in Washington, D.C. on 11-May-2015 for US$2,49 sampled at home in Washington on 23-January-2018.

Not bad and pretty good flavor. Fragrant, and some body, I like that it is straight forward sour and easy drinking but then again it can’t be too exciting.

12oz bottle from Ridgeview Liquors in Green Bay. Apple juice pour with almost no head. sweet fruity, slightly wine cooler-ish. Shrug? Summer brew, sure, but not much to this. 12.4

Draft at the brewery. Pours clear bright gold with a fizzy white head. Tastes like tart lemon, grapefruit, salty cracker malt, and yeast. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like yeast, salty cracker malt, and lemon.

Bottle from Bert’s Slightly hazy light golden color with a thin bubbly white head that dissipates quickly. Tart cherries, lemons, light balsamic, light bready malt moderate earthy funk. More body than I was expecting for the abv. Not bad, somewhat of a cross between a Berliner and a Flanders Red.

Bottle. Pours a clear orange with barely any head. Aroma of sour fruits, grape, oak, tart candy, diaper. Flavor of tart/sour fruits, lemon, bready malt. A touch puckering but not too bad. Plenty drinkable and light. It’s hard to session sour beers, but if you were to do it, this would be a fine beer for that purpose. Crisp and doesn’t wreck your palate. 7/4/7/4/15 (3.7/5)

Malty scent in the beginning followed by that great sour ale smell. Slighty hazy golden color with short white head that dies so quick it’s like it didn’t have one with no lacing. Weak sour flavor with super dry finish. Light crisp body with quick sharp carbonation Nice mouth feel. Wish there was a touch more sour in this brew seems it missed it’s mark. Very crushable.
