Gentle berry fruitiness, muted burnt toffee and some roasted barley in the nose. Quite sweet and yeasty in the mouth with some earthy roasted barley bitterness and a little more berry fruits. Finish has a solid hop and roasted barley bitterness, a low yeast note and some lingering toffee.

Sweet creaminess initially in the mouth, but very quickly followed by bitter roasted malts together with treacle, parkin and raisins. There’s a rye style spicyness as well, which lingers in the finish. This is a decent beefy “Irish red “ beer.
