COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We love nothing better than Belgian-style saison but with this blissful version we’ve added our own Wild interpretation of the style by adding a dash of funky Brettanomyces yeast plus roasted apricots and a hush-hush blend of spices. All of this makes for an extraordinary beer with an array of aromas that leap out of the glass followed by a spicy, fruity, tart and peppery palate and a long lingering finish.

UPDATED: NOV 16, 2019 Bottle from Bottles. Warm prune-brown, lightly clouded, cream-colored ring. Aroma is moderate caramel malt, considerable spices: clove is in there. bit of grass and hint of pine. some apple juice. Body is medium-light weight, medium-carbonation and burn, not particularly creamy. Mouthfeel would be 2.5 - kind of meh. Flavor is spice, light caramel, some lake vegetation. Some bread crust. pretty dry. Overall, no clear flaws but not my kind of spiced brew. Also not a golden ale by any means.

Hazy dark copper-amber under a bubbly light ivory head. Light apricot-ish nose with gentle maple sweetness. Crisp dry body with a bright maple and gentle twangy apricot flavor that’s gently fruity and just mellow-ish sour.

Bottled (Spontaneous KSMT tasting). Ambery brown colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is spicy, malty, mildly funky with some berries and dried fruits along with a slight sourness to it. Flavour is very similar, but somehow manages to work out quite well for my taste. Close on being a bit over the top though.

Meh, Aroma was definitely the best part here, with spice fruit perfume malt yeast and a little balsamic vinegar. Appearances average with a very short-lived head and a slightly hazy dark Amber. Flavor is fairly two-dimensional malty vinegar. Pucker up.

Pours a nice cola colored brown. Aromas of malts, fruit, and a touch of spice. Has flavors of chocolate, caramel, and a touch of wood.

Pours almost like soda - fizzy with rapidly disappearing head and a cola-like color. Aroma - also somewhat cola like, but some yeasty spiciness underneath. Taste is almost coffee like, with lots of earthy notes, some spices. I don’t get much if any of the apricot. I will be honest and say I was hoping for more.

12oz bottle. Pours amber. There is a lot of haze. There was sediment in the bottle that stirred up. Creamy head that persists. Yeast material or even spices sitting on top of the head. There is a metallic flavor that is masking all others. I pick up sweet fruity even grapefruit behind the metallic flavor. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Tilt, Oslo. Slightly hazy deep amber with an off-white head. Fruity and slightly funky aroma with apricots, spices and some yeasty notes. Moderate sweet with nice acidity, mild funky and fruity flavours. High drinkability and quite refreshing.
