jjsint (6133) - Leicester, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - FEB 21, 2020
UPDATED: FEB 21, 2020 Keg at the Alexandra Hotel, Derby. The beer is dark gold, hay, with uneven clumps of white head. Funky aroma, stale bread, vinegar, crabapple. Unspeakably tart in the first sip, mellowing to a candy sour/sweetness. Mouth-puckering tartness in the finish with quickly fades. A worthy adversary to my taste buds, whose expectations are foiled at every turn.

beer-yum (3530) - Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - SEP 29, 2019
UPDATED: SEP 29, 2019 Restrained funky aroma in a golden pour. Big tart flavor profile to start - with a receding dry yeasty finish. Not well integrated to my mind.

Herbs again possibly basil this time. Palate - medium bodied but the body bus compact and tight. Long, lean tangy finish. Overall - great stuff.

UPDATED: APR 21, 2019 Keg at Hackney Church - Hackney. Pours lightly hazy gold with a foamy, pure white head. Rather enjoyable, had a bit of brett funk, lightly acidic lemon, pale wood. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Light citric bite to close, some relaxed brett funk, soft woody dryness, more lemon, a nip of grass. Good stuff, really.

nathanvc (4147) - Gent, BELGIUM - APR 17, 2019
UPDATED: APR 17, 2019 6 April 2019. At De Kelk, Bruges. Shared with the lovely Anke! Pours hazy yellow with a lasting, thin, unstable, frothy, white head. Aroma of unripe tangerine, lemon zest, melon, fruity sorbet, sourdough, yoghurt, winegum. Taste is medium fruity sour, nice mix of melon, lemon & mandarin, sweetish tropical fruit & sorbet with a lactic & yoghurty edge, hoppy bitter tones of grass & pepper, somewhat yeasty too. Dryish, floral hoppy finish, a bit bretty & tart, lingering unripe yellow fruit & yoghurt. Medium body, slick-oily texture, fizzy carbonation. Could have been more pronounced in hoppy bitterness but the tropical impressions are certainly there.
