COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Tartufo Aronia is a foeder-aged sour ale conditioned on aronia berries from Blue Fruit Farm in Winona, vanilla beans and cacao nibs. A "tartufo" is an Italian dessert consisting of a fruit center surrounded by ice cream and covered in chocolate. Notes of vanilla, strawberry and an herbaceous quality are prevalent on the nose. Smooth on the palate with an herbal quality throughout, balanced acidity and jammy finish.

UPDATED: JAN 9, 2022 Bottle. Pours a clear red with a white head that starts and remains at the edges. Aroma has earthy chocolate and light tart fruits with a bit of vanilla and an earthy bread backbone. Flavor has much more sour and tart berries with just a hint of chocolate and a thin bread backbone.
