UPDATED: JAN 5, 2020 Very clear looking with a dark gold approaching copper color to it that pours with a finger worth of yellowish colored porous looking head that has middling retention that leaves slightly watery strings of lace down the side of the glass. Nice hop bouquet with nice notes of citrus and tropical fruits with a ghostly whiff of cat urine. Mildly bitter hop forward that goes straight to the back of the palate with notes of pithy citrus, floral hints and traces of black tea. Medium bodied and mildly sweet with a good toffee note to it, a good amount of depth to it and a nice round mouth-feel that tingles slightly with a higher then average amount of carbonation to it. Finishes hoppy and fairly bitter with a pithy, piney and herbal flavor that lingers heavy on the aftertaste with a faint menthol quality to it and slightly unpleasant acrid note, that builds on the tongue as I drank it.

UPDATED: DEC 13, 2019 On tap at Renaissance YEG. Clear dark amber under a two finger off white head that fades slowly and leaves lots of tight lace. Nose is caramel, pine, citrus and some grass. Light+ caramel sweetness and a medium pine and citrus bitterness. Mouth is medium slick with average carbonation and a lingering lightly bitter finish. Average. 7/4/6/3/12+

On tap at Fox on 6th. Pours golden to amber, crystal clear, some greenish tinges. Persistent, off-white head. Aroma is medium to high: roses, orange blossom, dandelion. Flowery. Mouthfeel is boozy, powerful, very bitter. Long-lasting finish. Nice, despite the low score.

Light pine and some malt. Some amber pour. Light bitter finish. Low on character like romantic comedies.

Dziwią mnie niskie oceny tego piwa. Piłem je ostatnio otrzymane w puszcze w paczce z Kanady i wyszło rewelacyjne. Cytrus tropik i żywica w aromacie, w smaku zaś świeżo chmielowo i z dobrą goryczką. Niesamowitym atutem tego piwa był fakt, że nawet po około godzinnym odstaniu i drugim podejściu nadal pachniało świeżo i bogato. Nie zdarza się to aż tak często. Z chęcią bym sprawdził to z wersją beczkową.

Amber golden pour, light aroma. Long lasting white head. Taste is moderate bitterness and slightly watery body. Refreshing, not bad.

On tap. A clear golden beer with a small white head. Aroma is hoppy, citrus and piney. Could be more aromatic for an IPA. Taste is also hoppy, citrusy and piney with some caramel malt in the background. Aroma is by very exciting but the flavor is ok.
