COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Beside the ‘Bloesem Bink’, you can also enjoy a second seasonal beer, the ‘Winterkoninkske’. This beer is, just like the others, unfiltered, not pasteurized, with secundary fermentation in the bottle. The ‘Winterkoninkske’ is the ideal beer to make a cold and chilly winter evening pleasant. The ingredients are: seven types of malt (among which rolled oats), two belgian types of hop, brewing liqour and yeast. Our winter beer is a dark and heartwarming beer with a pure, sugary flavour and a long, bitter aftertaste. The alcohol content of this heavy beer is 8,3 % vol.alc.

HopsLove6 (390) - Berkshire, ENGLAND - DEC 25, 2020
UPDATED: DEC 25, 2020 This is a nice winter beer. Slightly malty and slight sweetness. For the abv not huge amounts of full on flavour. Mouthfeel is lighter than i like but still a fine beer.

maciejgmaciej (2562) - POLAND - APR 14, 2020

DraftDodger (5615) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JAN 21, 2020
UPDATED: JAN 21, 2020 Copenhagen 30/12 2018. 33 cl bottle from Ølhandleren in Give. Little angry looking bird guarding some hops on a background of snow-covered houses. Pours opaque dark brown with a red hue and a small beige head. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing, Aroma is intensely sweet and on the verge of being cloying. Dark, fermented fruits drenched in sugar, candy, mulled wine with a boozy, alcoholic tang. Low carbonation. Medium thick, oily texture. Sticky. Flavor is heavy sweet followed by a medium bitterness. Aftertaste is very sweet with a light alcoholic burn. Lingering for a while. A very sweet but warming Belgian. One-dimensional - but a nice dimension.

330ml bottle in 2016. Super dark brown with a beige head. Aroma of dried fruit, Christmas pudding, cinnamon, cloves and dark malt. Good body. Sweetish flavours, but well balanced out. Good Christmas beer.
