UPDATED: DEC 14, 2021 From Beer Drop. Canned November 19th 2021. It pours black with a finger of tan foam. The smell is bitter from the roasted malt, some sweet chocolate and some presence of lactose. The taste is light roasted malt bitterness, sweet chocolate, lactose, pretty sweet finish. Good mouthfeel, decent beer.

UPDATED: DEC 24, 2020 Cocao and oatmeal aroma. Pitch black pour with a dark mocha head. Taste is dark chocolate, dark roast, smoky, light peppermint, and palate has an oily texture.

UPDATED: FEB 8, 2019 On tap at Colorado Plus poured a clear dark reddish brown with a small lingering tan head. Aromas of roasted malt, cocoa, peppermint and earthiness. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of roasted malt, cocoa, peppermint and light earthiness with a smooth dry lingering peppermint cocoa finish.

UPDATED: JAN 19, 2019 Black pour with a thin foamy tan head. Rich roasty aroma that’s got some dry biscuity cocoa, with a flavor to match. Dark and roasty and slightly biscuity with a little bittersweet dark cocoa.
