UPDATED: MAR 14, 2020 Cask in the Brown Hare. Clear amber brown, thin line of white foam. A bit muddled, something a bit off coming through from the fermentation and a harsh woody hop note. Not great.

UPDATED: JAN 20, 2020 Cask at The Southern Cross, Watford on 27/02/2007. Of all the rugby related beers, this was one of the better ones. I definitely remember Wychwood beers being pretty decent back then... maybe it was just me.

UPDATED: MAR 10, 2019 Cask-conditioned at the Annexe, Bristol 9/3/2019. Deep amber in colour, with a thin, off-white, head. Caramel aplenty, dusty hops, some sweet fruits and dense malts before a moderately bitter finish. So so.

Cask at the Old Mariner, Woodbridge. Pours dark amber / brown with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of malt, biscuit, toffee and fruit. Moderate sweetness, medium plus bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, average to soft carbonation.
