COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A hidden treasure has been unearthed in the Wychwood Brewery…and it’s as pure and precious as its forefather. It comes in the form of Wychwood Hobgoblin Gold. Wychwood Hobgoblin Gold is the latest beer carrying the little fella’s moniker, and while Gold might be lighter in colour, it’s definitely no lightweight. At 4.5% ABV, the combination of four hop varieties and an infusion of wheat and malted barley has resulted in the perfect golden beer – with a huge hop punch.Guilt edged golden refreshment. Well, what did you expect? Food Match: An English cheese such as cheddar or a dessert like maple bread goes wonderfully with Wychwood Hobgoblin Gold. Smoked fish is an ideal accompaniment for this tasty golden ale because of its stronger flavour meaning the ale wouldn’t overpower the taste of a fresh fish.

MetalBrew (3) - SCOTLAND - AUG 27, 2019 does not count
UPDATED: AUG 27, 2019 So disappointed love a good ale out of the counting house but this is awful struggling to get through it. Didn’t help that the bar staff pulled it as fast as possible and dumped it in front of me. Tastes of soap with a bland after taste. Normally love a good pint of hobgoblin but something’s not right this time. Overall bland taste with little bitterness pity it was rushed.
