Fin (15185) - Attenkirchen, Bavaria, GERMANY - DEC 19, 2021
UPDATED: DEC 19, 2021 Can consumed Saturday 18th December 2021 on a Zoom chat with Scott and Mandy. We had Chicken Satay and Sweet and Sour Pork and Rice.. Pours black the head which was a good size disappearing in a nano second. Cocoa and light coffee on the nose but not picking up too much of the barrel ageing, is it Bourbon, I think so. Smooth creamy mouthfeel, mostly roasty, barrel ageing is now noticeable, an ever present sweeteness, there is coffee and bitter dark chocolate, warming from the alcohol, a little burnt sugar.

Marko (11972) - Prague, CZECH REPUBLIC - SEP 18, 2020
UPDATED: SEP 18, 2020 Tap at Beergeek Bar. Pitch black, lasting tan head. Enormous, insane coffee aroma, a bit rough though, vaguely washed-out, some mild dried figs. Chocolate indeed in the taste, lovely praline/truffle chocolate mixing with the solid coffee notes, which are out of tune at times and beautifully mixing with the chocolate craziness at others. If the coffee aspect was better and not earthy, strongly so at times, this would be a strong 4+, like this... Less so and still excellent.
