FACambridge (1122) - Chelmsford, Essex, ENGLAND - JAN 30, 2020UPDATED: JAN 30, 2020 Aromas of chocolate malt with a redfruit note of Blackcurrent/cherry. Taste picks up the chocolate & Blackcurrent undertone feels slightly medicinal. The bitter-sweet balance is out. A little too sweet & not quite dry enough.
hauxe (3004) - Butzbach, GERMANY - SEP 11, 2019UPDATED: SEP 11, 2019 Almost black with a fleeting tan head. The very mild aroma promises toast, dust, and Bonbons. Sweet start, dominated by artificial cherry flavor. Fades off into a mild, toasted bitterness, but the medicinal notes remain. Doesn’t go anywhere pleasant in the end. Thin body, mildly oily. No thanks.
