The was from a sampler at the brewpub in Yachats, Oregon. Poured a dark brown being almost black with a light tan head. Nose of roasted malts. Medium body. Flavor is roasted malts and the finish is bitter. Simple but tasty enough;
Beer at brewery.
Black body with a nice tan head.
Pleasing milky toasty aroma.
Taste. Toasted nuts..and licorice..small lactose.
Nice smooth palate..dry finish.
Good example of the style
