UPDATED: MAY 2, 2020 12oz bottle from LCBO, Toronto, ON on 19/09/2008. Still not too sure what an ‘ice beer’ is, but this was a fairly bland lager, with a slightly OTT sweetness from the honey.

This wasn’t as smooth as an ice beer should be. There was no honey aroma or taste. It’s a clear golden beer replete with a grainy malt smell, and grainy malt taste. There wasn’t much else to this beer.

473ml can from LCBO in THunder Bay, Ontario pours a pale straw color with a small white head and no lacing. Aroma is light grains and faint hops. Taste is light sweet malts and mild hop bitterness. Consistency is watery and thin. Not very good beer and certainly not recommended.

473ml can. Good taste with honey, alcohol and grain, but this can was flat and a little watery.

Originally rated May 2008. Pours a lighter than average golden colour with a big white head. This one disappears fast enough, and only leaves a little wet lace around the collar. Medium-sized bubbles are all stuck together, around the glass... lots of them. The nose is nice and fresh right after pour, but then, the aromas change to some chemical smell (not lethal) with a little lemon thrown in there. So, lemon, but I don’t smell the honey. Mouthfeel is very, very smooth... just like it is written on the can... "extremely smooth". Does not taste much, except a little alcohol (well covered by the honey I guess) in the finish, and the grain (cereal, corn) really stick out in the aftertaste. Not a bad swill, that is very smooth.

can. Poured clear dark amber with an off-white head. The aroma is bland corn grain. Average carbonation. light bodied but not watery. Malty flavour and a bit grassy, some artificial sugary sweetness. Finish is crisp and slightly metallic. Not as bad as expected.

473mL can from the LCBO, I don’t really have a legitimate reason why, I’ve just been putting it off for a while as a tick (at least I admit it). Pours an orangy- gold with a small white froth, quickly dissipates. Smells like awfullness and failure, adjunct city. And some watermellon? I must be hallucinating. Terrible. Yet strangely arousing. Flavour is equally stunning in it’s craptacularness. Slightly sour and off sweet flavours dominate, mild ’honey’ in the finish but could easily just be my brain deceiving me, trying desperately not to percieve how crappy this truly is. I don’t really know if ’Adirondack’ honey is particularly special, but if I were a bee I’d be pretty offended by this usage of my produce. Lame.

Tall boy can. Pours gold with a thin white head. Smells of apples, some honey, sweet malt. Tastes sweet with some earthiness on the finish.

Boring. I was expecting a strong honey taste and got maybe a hint. Not much characteristics to set it apart. Don’t go out of your way to try it.

canette de 500ml, bière blonde sans intérêt, rassemble aux bières industrielles classiques sans envergure et sans classe particulière.
