UPDATED: JAN 17, 2021 Botella de 33cl @ Líquidos Almacén de Cervezas, Zaragoza. Color marrón oscuro, fina corona de espuma color beige y con poca persistencia. Aromas a caramelo, licor, vainilla y cacao. Licorisa en boca pero no desequilibrada. Dulzona, se nota el paso por barrica de bourbon.

UPDATED: DEC 24, 2020 33cl bottle at home, bought at Just in Beer. Appearance: dark brown with a minimal, thin, beige head. Aroma: whisky, molasse, maple syrup, butterscotch. Taste: above medium sweetness and high bitterness. Notes of dark malts, whisky, some betadine-iodine, waterpaint, maple syrup like sweetness and some toffee/butterscotch. Palate: medium bodied, thin oily texture and soft carbonation. Overall: Interesting taste but very weak body.

UPDATED: OCT 5, 2020 Bottle. Black pour. Aroma of sweet candi sugar, caramel, maple, chocolate, licorice, vanilla and burned malt. Taste has bitter maple, burned caramel, vanilla, candi sugar, sweet bourbon, booze, malt, molasses and a boozy sweet finish. Yes, the maple, sugar and vanilla are really sweet, but for me the bourbon hotness provides good base for it. Nice one.

UPDATED: SEP 22, 2020 330ml bottle (beerdome.nl) (5:4:4:2:9=2.4) Spicy Christmas spice aroma. Sweet spicy taste. Dark deep and roasty. Seems salty. Sticky sickly brew. Nope.

UPDATED: AUG 3, 2020 Bottle, 330 ml shared with Max, Miro B and Cvrle. Black with small beige head. Chocolate, roasted, coffee, some maple, vanilla, nice bitter finish. Smooth. Medium bodied.

UPDATED: MAY 25, 2020 330ml bottle. Opaque, darkest brown colour with small, creamy, half-way lasting, minimalyl lacing, beige head. Sweet-ish, flavoured, dark malty aroma, notes of maple syrup, hints of vanilla, a touch of cinnamon, wafer, minimally floral, hoppy overtones, whiffs of Bourbon. Taste is sweet-ish, flavoured, dark malty, hints of maple syrup, vanilla, honey, wafer. Oily texture, smooth and soft palate, soft carbonation; warming, alcoholic finish. Rather well hidden alcohol, quite heavy and knocking your socks off nevertheless; too boozy for a comparatively low spectrum and depth of flavours.

UPDATED: JAN 12, 2020 Bottle. Pours black with a brown head. Aromas of dark chocolate, dried fruit and vanilla. Flavours of dark chocolate, dried fruit, rubber, wood and vanilla. Oily texture. Full body.
