Pershing (759) - Garland, Texas, USA - JAN 2, 2022
UPDATED: JAN 2, 2022 Clear gold with a small head and light carbonation. Syrup aroma with a medium to light body. Noticeable hop bite with every drink. Bland finish. Doesn't stand a chance against a low end European Continental pilsner. Brewed in Fort Worth by a contract brewer.

nuplastikk (8158) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 28, 2021
UPDATED: NOV 28, 2021 12oz can. Filtered golden tan body, steady head. Sweet, not really capturing the style well. Some corn syrup. Unimpressive.

malvrich (762) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - AUG 16, 2021
UPDATED: AUG 16, 2021 2 month old can A: Crystal clear brassy gold with a short, thick fast falling head. S: Light powdery scent of grainy bread, corn and herbs. T: Herbal hops are at the center with the expected corn taking over. Some light toast noticed near the bitter end. M: Light and well carbonated. Again a powdery aspect. O: No escaping the HFCS but it's not bad. I guess AALs have improved if only slightly.

Dacrza (1557) - Great Meadows, New Jersey, USA - APR 24, 2021
UPDATED: APR 24, 2021 DATE: April 23, 2021... OCCASION: enjoying another Friday after a good week of work... GLASSWARE: Paulaner pokal... pours its thick, snow-white head above a golden (hence, the name) body alive with bubbly effervescence... from a short distance, this looks like a classic import... its aroma is fresh meadow, slight herbal hints, buttery cracker, a bit of perfume, and some metallic ping as well... this sips rather thinly, though it does occupy the palate for a decent amount of time... easy drinking, pleasant and a good companion for late-night snack foods.... the Saaz is apparent, as is the flowery elements, with a light hop presence and an even lighter malt base... the cracker does give it some balance... its flavor doesn't last long, but it does leave a pleasant vibe... this works, evidence the Yuengling folks know how to do lagers.... I will definitely enjoy this as the summer months approach...

aracauna (4101) - Georgia, USA - FEB 8, 2021
UPDATED: FEB 8, 2021 It's not the worst from a big brewery. Decent maltiness. Clean. Slightly sweet. Wish it had more hop bite like the best pils, but I don't think Yeungling is the right brewery for that.
