Rating from 2005. Mild-weich, leicht getreidig, aber irgendwie komisch-künstlich. Mild-herb, im Nachgeschmack etwas dünner. Nette hopfenaromatische Anklänger --> 8

It’s golden with a lasting, white head. The aroma has notes of grain, straw, malt and light flower. The flavor has a light sweetness and notes of straw, grain, malt, very light flower and the finish is dry.

Bottled. Yellowish golden colour with a small white head that leaves some lace. Aroma is sweet malts, some bread, grains, grass, mild herbs and some slight floral notes as well. Flavour is grainy, floral malt, some slight herbal and quite sweet notes. Balanced and pleasant. Quite crisp carbonation.

(bottle) Slightly hazy, pale golden colour with a firm mid-sized foamy white head. Slightly grainy malty nose with herbal hops, accompanied by subtle fruity notes and a touch of sulphur. Moderately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a sharp carbonation. Soft pale malt-character with grainy spots and herbal hops; quite dry slightly sweet and moderately bitter and herbal hoppy finish. Mediocre. 20.XI.10

Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, toasted, light to moderate hoppy, grass, light citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20090321]

Bottle, 4.8%. Weak fruity aroma. Clear yellow colour, very small white head. The flavour is fruity and refreshing with a little citrus and a hint of bread. Cleansing bitterness in the finish.

Medium white fine-laced lasting head. Yellow body. Faintly acidic malty aroma with citric hoppy notes. Dryish citric malty taste with faintly roasty notes. Sharpish mouthfeel. Dry citric roasty aftertaste. Decent, mostly neutral, but no serious off tastes. (0.33l bottle from gr0ve, as Birra dei Nostalgici Lenin.)

330 ml bottle. La Birra dei Nostalgici, labelled Lenin. Pale golden colour. Crystal clear. Tall white creamy head that clings to the glass. Subtle floral hop aroma with light grainy malts. Slightly medicinal. Citrusy flavours. Light maltiness. Dry papery hops with a bitterness that lingers a long time. Some burnt notes, which I assume is because the beer is somewhat old.

Bottled Pale golden coloured. Bready and hoppy aroma. Bready flavour with a dry and hop bitter finish. Refreshing.

UPDATED: MAR 21, 2009 50 cL bottle. Pours clear yellow with a white diminishing head. Mild dry malty aroma. Flavour is subdued sweet with a nice light fruity flavour leading into the finish. Ends mild bitter.
