COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Sabro + Citra For the ninth birthday of our brewery we prepared the strongest and the most hoppy New England IPA in the history of our brewing. It will strike you with an absurdly aromatic character full of tropical fruits, pineapple and mango with almost zero bitterness. It has already been 9 years of our struggle to bring you the best beers we are able to make in our brewery and we are proud we have such great fans. Even though we moved from Zichovec and now do our mission in Louny, it doesn’t change anything about our goal – to walk the line between tradition and modernity and bring you happiness doing do. For this year’s birthday we decided to brew the style you like the most – New England IPA, but this time stronger than ever before. To create a trully intense experience, we used a huge amount of popular hop varieties Citra and Sabro, big part of it in its cryo form. Thanks to this form, the hop flowers loose much of its vegental parts, making it much less bitter and tanniny. The final product is an extremely aromatic fruity NEIPA full of pineapple, mango and other tropical fruits.

UPDATED: DEC 31, 2021 #4775 Orange, cloudy, high white head. Aroma of alcohol, fruit, maracuja, vanilla. Taste is sweet, smooth, juicy, licorice behind, tropical fruit, maracuja, vanilla, alcohol. Full body. Not so good for style, but very good as beer.

UPDATED: DEC 10, 2021 Pours hazy golden with a small off-white head. Aroma of booze, orange, mint and maybe some mango. Sweet taste that ends up being slightly more dry and a little bitter. A nice strong DIPA. 🌟🌟🌟⭐️

UPDATED: NOV 21, 2021 Small off-white head over fully hazy orange-ochre beer. Resins, exotic fruit (guava, passion fruit, grapefruit, lychee...) Lots of rosewater. Bitter, very dry, grapefruit, citruspeel, resins. Certainly warming up, again rosewater, lychee. Some vegetable, resiny bitterness. Very hopoilslick, medium carbonation, well bodied, tart from the lupulin overload. Quite OK, if anything but subtle.

UPDATED: NOV 18, 2021 Tap at Zil Verne. Golden color with thick white head. Clear tropical fruits in aroma with mango, orange, tangerines, zest, alcohol. Taste is again hop centered with tropical fruits, zest, pines. Alcohol is noticable, which is understandable by 10ABV. Nice, I liked it much.

Gurthnar (9965) - Bratislava, SLOVAKIA - SEP 26, 2021
UPDATED: NOV 21, 2021 Can via Zil verne. Unpleasant really. Full body, with lots of alcohol, substantial portion solventy. Also moderate cheesy yeasty character. Medium carbonation. Med-high bitterness, medium sweetness. Pleasant hops character (if there is any) is obscured by harsh alcohol and off yeasty notes. As it warms up, it begins resembling vomit more and more. Simply not good. 2,6 Rerate tap at Zil verne. Must have been in bad mood previously, or the beer different. It has got a noticeable booziness, but not solventy and not so much overall, at least not relative to ABV. I do not get any cheesiness. Full body, with lots of juicy sweetness, med-high bitterness to match it, but definitely feels more sweet in the overall balance. Lots of coconut, exotic fruitiness. Overall not great, but pretty good.
