UPDATED: AUG 8, 2021 Viscous as discarded motor oil, and looking the part. Smelling dry, but with a hefty Bourbon-vanilla aroma, vanillaflower, booze - mainly Bourbon. And 'some' chocolate. Chocolate, Bourbon. True, 'chocolate' as in top Belgian quality. Little point of stoutacidity. Fiery, full bodied, chewy, powerful. Outstanding!

UPDATED: APR 1, 2021 The aroma is Bourbon, licorice, malty. Pours almost black with dark tan head, mostly diminishing and good lacing. The taste is a medium bitter. The body is full, the texture creamy, the carbonation lively and the finish long.

UPDATED: FEB 19, 2019 650 ml bottle. 2015 vintage. Pours a thick black with little head. Aromas of rich chocolate, dusty oak, coconut, and spice. Flavors of nougat, dark chocolate, sweet vanilla, Kalhua, coconut, oaky bourbon, and dusty roasted malts. Still a little hot. Incredible

UPDATED: JAN 25, 2019 Bottle at first THT 2019. Black with brown head. Boozy bourbon, licorice, sour berries, light smoke and peat, roast, vanilla, dark chocolate, light meaty. Quite sweet, medium bitter and light sour. Almost full bodied.

UPDATED: JAN 25, 2019 Can at THT January. Black with tan head. Big sweet deep roasted chocolate malts. Big sweet deep roasted chocolate malts, citrus peel, cinnamon, toasted coconut, big truck tire. Full on sweet and bitter. Full body and soft carbonation.

UPDATED: JAN 6, 2019 Very, very sweet, very very full. Chocolate, lots of barrel, alcohol hidden.

UPDATED: DEC 16, 2018 Pours an opaque black from the barrel with thin ring of wispy tan brown head that dissipates to leave light lace, but viscosity slips down the glass slowly. Aroma of chocolate, vanilla oak, bourbon, sweet milk, a touch of soy oxidation. Taste is vanilla on chocolate, roast on booze, bourbon on apple, a touch of oxidation from the age on the end. Very nicely done, but maybe not as good as I was hoping for the price and exclusivity.

UPDATED: DEC 10, 2018 Masa wanilii i marcepanu w aromacie, na tle gorzkiego kakao i czekolady, w tle bourbon. W smaku pełne, czekoladowo gęste, z palonym tłem, finisz z lekkimi taninami, minimalnie kwaskowaty, z posmakiem bourbonu.

UPDATED: DEC 7, 2018 Powidła śliwkowe, jakieś nuty winne czy koniakowe, przyjemne beczkowe ściąganie w posmaku, czekoladowość, kakao.
