8407 Kitchen Bar

Classy place. Medium sized bard up front, restaurant section in the rear. Handful of local stuff on tap, nothing interesting. Tasty and creative food. Friendly service. Not a beer destination at all, but a decent restaurant. Belongs on Yelp.

Fun gastropub hidden away essentially inside the Silver Spring bus station not even a block from the metro stop. Trendy semi upscale, fancy burgers and fries. Relaxed lounge area downstairs and bar with dining room upstairs. Usually has a decent craft beer selection consisting of Flying Dog seasonal, probably static taps of National Bohemian. Not the greatest selection but they have craft beer and great food. A less divey alternative to Quarry House Tavern. Similar feel to Scion, which is opening a location in Silver Spring soon.
