78 Certainly the best brewery in town. The tasting room is very well-designed, with a beautiful walkway and back patio. A whopping 25 beers on tap, including many sours and BA sours, and other creative brews. Flights of 4 available for $8 (included tax), which includes all their sours (no upcharge). I enjoyed the sours and their imperial stouts, but their IPAs and other beers were quite flawed. Friendly service. Mandatory stop if in Jacksonville. |

82 Visited late afternoon on a Thursday. Parking is in a gravel lot behind the brewery, you enter through a nice patio area that features several picnic tables. Interior is shiny and new, large with seating at the concrete bar or at high tops or tables around the edge of the room. Design has a lot of brick, pretty building. Music playing quietly, very chill. Great service, offered a sample without my having to ask which always appreciated. Selection is 24 house beers on draft with Oud Bruin bottles to go. 32 and 64 oz growler filled. Taster, choose your own flight, 4 pours for $8. Fun friendly after work crowd. Berliner I had was the best I have had in awhile. 82 = ★★★½ (Solid place, near the top of the list for locals and visitors) I only use the total score, not the component parts. |
80 New brewery in Jacksonville. The location is perfect with plenty of parking. Outside picnic tables and plenty of room inside. They have a large room with long tables to watch major sporting events. Another room with couches for a quieter venue while enjoying their beers .On our visit they had 26 beers to choose from. Their beers were above average. |
78 Nice upscale indoor bar area. Fast service even when crowded. Didn’t try the food truck. Had an El Mariachi very nice stout. |
86 Really cool place. Nice redone old building. Awesome bar area with some quieter offshoot rooms. Nice outdoor area to hang out. Lots of their own beers on tap (had 3 sours they had on tap, they were well made and nice but not world class by any means, didn’t try any of their others). Food truck in the parking lot for me tasty food to go with the beers. Great place. Would go back for sure and would love to try many more of their beers. |
92 2-22-2013 as part of RBWG. They are not officially opened yet as they are waiting on a permit. They have five beers on tap - two sours, one flemish red, 1 belgian double, and one belgian dark. This is a brick interior building with seating at the bar and at tables. I had the belgian double and it is very good. A brewery worth stopping at and one that I would revisit. |
84 I’ve been back a couple times. Very nice place to visit with a quality selection of house-brewed beers. Tasting room remains impressive.
***Original Rating*** I really enjoyed my visit here during the RBWG 2013. They’ve done a very nice job with their interior and the bar. New, bright, welcoming. Female staff is certainly easy on the eyes and they know their craft beer. Can’t wait for this place to officially open its doors and also can’t wait for them to start brewing beer they can sell. The selection is currently minimal, but the quality is sky high. I hate driving 4 hours north to Jacksonville, but I’ll do it once or twice a year once this place is open and churning out quality beers. |
84 Ambiance: Decent place with that old reclaimed brick building feel but modernized on the inside, wide open with tables everywhere and a side room for more seating. Long bar that can hold 20+ patrons at once
Service: Bartenders were very friendly, willing to tell you about the different beers, offered to show me around the back with the brewing equipment
Selection: solid selection of 15 different beers on tap across the various styles, had several IPAs and several Saisons on tap, but they were solid beers, Even grabbed two growlers for the plane trip back home.
Food: Do Not Serve Food, I guess they do have food trucks that show up occassionally
Value: Decent prices, growlers were decent priced, pints were reasonable for the quality of the beer.
Overall: Best brewery in the northeastern part of FLA |
78 Large and pleasant microbrewery with good service, multiple seating areas and plenty of free parking (around back). About 20 beers on tap, including about 4 IPAs, a gose, a RIS, a coffee brown, a pale ale and several other styles. Small pours available at $2 ea., with full pours at $4-$5. |
