An Beal Bocht

This is not a beer lovers mecca, I am afraid. But it is a great little Irish pub! The atmosphere is excellent, and it looks like it could have been transported brick by brick from Ireland and reconstructed in New York City. It is a comfortable, popular, friendly place with a number of dedicated regulars. An Beal Bocht is a classic neighborhood bar that attracts young and old, and offers live music (sometimes Irish music) and occasional poetry readings. A very appealing pub, and they know how to pour a Guinness.
