The space is odd and eclectic - if one is feeling generous. The beer quality on the whole is some of the worst I've encountered many tasting off to almost infected. I can really think of nothing about them that I could recommend. Kinda regretful that I wasted time stopping by.

This place has so much potential that they have some work ahead of them. Eight people during happy hour. Beers are average . Need to clean patio up Next to Thirsty Dog brewery. (Tap house up the hill) Plenty of parking and no food. Give them a visit. Cheers!

(Visited 08/2015): Aqueduct Brewing is one of the newer breweries in Akron and is right next door to Thirsty Dog. Parking is available in a lot in front of the building as well as on the street.

The space in the large brick building occupied by Aqueduct is in the back corner, and there is an open space in front of the large garage door entrance. The taproom is open with tables past the entrance and a short bar against the back wall. Large flags hang from the ceiling, and the decor has a DIY/industrial feel with the exposed brick walls, stone floors and support columns. There is a large mirror behind the bar with their logo on it, and the taps are visible. The restrooms and brewery are in an adjacent area.

Aqueduct has around 6 beers on tap and a sampler is available. On my visit the selections included a Hefe, Osiris Belgian, Bast IPA, Oatmeal Stout, Silenus Stout and Poseidon’s Sour Pilsner. The beers were pretty average on the whole.

Service at the bar on a Saturday evening was good. The folks behind the bar were friendly and attentive.

Food is not served at Aqueduct.

Overall the quality of the beers here wasn’t quite what I hoped but I will definitely give them another chance on a future visit.

This is a cool little working garage style brewery in the same block as Thirsty Dog. The brewer and his family was there behind the bar and were very friendly. He did not have the standard styles on tap. He is trying some interesting combinations and styles. It is actually a great compliment to Thirsty Dog. Interesting place that should check out when in Akron

Small place next to Thirsty Dog. Not much parking since it shares the lot with TD, but I was able to get a spot. Basically in an extended garage and you see brewing equipment. Some tables and seats at the bar. The bartender was very friendly and quick. The beers were pretty good and the place is opened much more than Thirsty Dog. There was a good selection of styles on tap from the brewery. Pretty good prices too. Worth the stop if you are in the area.

Stopped in on Black Friday just after they opened. Parking is somewhat limited. They share the same building as Thirsty Dog, so they have to contend with parking there as well, but I bet a lot of folks would potentially be there to visit both places. Once inside, it is kind of dark and it has a lot of exposed wooden beams and concrete. Kind of gives the place an industrial feel. There are some tables toward the front of the area and the bar is toward the back. They had 6 taps going while I was visiting with room for some more. I believe this place just opened, so it’s understandable that they didn’t have all their taps filled just yet. They offered samplers, so I went that route. It came with 4 beers and was decently priced. The bartender was very knowledgeable of their beers. All things considered, this place has room for improvement and shows some potential. I will likely stop in whenever I visit the area.
