This place is awesome! This is the only place I go to for my specialty cheeses. There's none other like it in the area, and I just love their assortment too. It looks to be a cute spot for 2 people to grab drinks, and the bites of food they make on site smell amazing every time I stop in. I'll have to come back for a grilled cheese and soup soon. I've found everyone here quite helpful and friendly whenever I've asked a question!

This place is so much more than a bottle shop...I would definitely suggest changing it to a bar/restaurant. In any case...fantastic place to go for great craftbeer, cheese of course, and excellent sandwiches and small bites. They have 12 taps with a wide variety of first class beers. This place is second only to Murray's Cheese Bar (a 1/2 block from their cheese store in the West Village). Note that there are two locations...both are in Astoria and both are great (the other is on Ditmar Blvd).

My brother inlaw had a music gig around corner so I ran here before looking for smuttynose new malt liquor. Really clean nice decor. Draft list was nice and they had beer I wanted at fair price. Couple other interesting goodies but as per usual I had no time and sprinted back to other bar to make showtime.

Very clean looking place. Not clear if bottleshop or bar. Fridges full of reasonably priced craft beers, both US andforeign. Friendly service. Food is nothing less than amazing. Best sandwiches ever. I though wtf 10 buck for a sandwich? Untill I tasted it. ... Now i think more toward only 10 bucks??? Very passionate and friendly people. Good beers available as well. Cool place!

Well-lit, largish bottle shop with a marble bar and 10 beers on tap. The menu includes about 200 bottlles, some of them local rarities such as Transmitter. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, for whom beards seem to be mandatory. Light jazz on the speakers, hipsters as customers, a very nice place.

Hipsterish. Good beer selection for a tiny place with a few local nano taps. Sandwich was excellent. Prices are on the high side. But if you are in the mood for a $9 candy bar, you can get it here.

This is a very nice shop, small tap bar and sandwich joint. The sandwich (their signature BLT) was wonderful, and the beers on tap amazing as well. The space is a bit vacant, nicely it is not overfilled, but if they did that with over-the-top quality it would be a huge plus. Great service, great product. My friends are lucky to have this in their hood

8 draft lines, mostly local NY state breweries. Decent bottle selection, but they have a $2.00 corkage fee to drink a bottle in the store. The pints were all $6.00. They do a tasting of 4 four $10. The cheese selection is impressive. The bartender knew his stuff as far as the cheese. Kind of overpriced in general, but probably on par for Astoria.

Nice little store front that is next to their wine store which I believe is some type of sister business. Anyway I really liked the concept of this place. Kind of like 1/3 bar, 1/3 bottle shop, and 1/3 cheese and meat counter. They had a couple of nice finds like BCS and Bolt Cutter, but those seem kind of abundant away from Manhattan. Very nice tap selection. Nice little place that I hope to find time to stop back in and grab a sandwich and beer.
