This place is legit. Great pizza, friendly staff, a great taplist and an even better bottle list. Bottles are apparently usually for on-site drinking, but during COVID-times they offer them to go, so I brought a bunch of good European stuff home (good Euro stuff is hard to find here during COVID).

Visited just after opening on Saturday, I believe I was the only guest. Came in from the back parking lot, looks bit weird from there. Seemed like a big place with separate rooms, I've stayed at the bar. Friendly service. Extensive tap list, everyone should be able to find something for themselves. Had Logsdon and Weldwerks IPA which were quite good. Well worth visiting.

Top notch spot in Boulder! Tons of taps with all the range and seemingly no filler. Service was great, lively bar area. Pizza was really good as well.

Two stops here during my visit. Both times we enjoyed good food and good service. This is a pretty large place with several rooms and plenty of parking. Tap list was quite impressive. I stayed away from some of the delicate imports, so I can't comment on 3fourths earlier note. Really extensive bottle list; nothing super crazy on it, but the prices were impressive, frequently only a couple bucks over retail for on-site consumption. Half pours available; did not ask about flights.

While they are known for the extensive tap list and I appreciate them reserving taps for interesting imports, it’s so rare to find these beers in good shape at Backcountry. More often than not their versions of De Dolle, De la Senne, Blaugies, etc., are underwhelming. They are trying, and they surely do better with American craft beer, this is an American beer geek place at its core, but I get the feeling they don’t have a lot of care-taking experience with the more delicate beers, especially Belgian styles. I would put up with the ambiance (televisions, neon signs, garish paint) if they had the ability to serve these world-class beers in their best shape.

Visited for their 5th anniversary party. The best word to describe the ambiance would be "bedlam"; the bar was packed to overflowing and the bartenders were pouring beer as fast as they could. For all that, the servers and bartenders were as attentive as they could be, very friendly and knowledgeable, and amazingly prompt. The selection was simply mind-blowing, although that was just the event. The pizza we had was delicious. The prices are a bit steep, and the half-pours are $5, which is a bit much, in my opinion. Still, this place lived up to the hype, and I will be back, as often as I can.

Cool concept of a bar with a restaurant attached. Very spacious and in a cool neighborhood in Boulder. The selection is impeccable. They even had Pliny the elder on draft. They should have more beers on draft. Very extensive bottle selection but the prices on those bottles is just obscene. Good friendly service but sorry to say the food was not good. Just come here to drink. You must try this place, but expect to pay through the nose if you aren’t buying draft beer.

Grande sélection, succulentes et massives pizzas. Malheureusement pas de ’’half pour’’ ou de ’’taster flight’’, ici c’est les pintes et les coulisses de gras qui règnent.

Visited during lunch hours on GABF week. Pretty crowded but not too much. Helpful and very knowledgeable staff, the owner sat at the bar and had som beers with us, great guy. Selection is huge, both on tap and bottles, impressive. Had a cheese steak and completely loved it. One of the best beer bars I have ever attended. Highly recommended.

Really cool place in Boulder. Great pizza and phenominal bottle & tap list. This is a must-go destination when I’m in CO.
