66 Normally, I would not add a place like this. But given the fact that Littleton has a real dearth of any good beer, I made the executive decision to do so.
Small restaurant that is part of the Beal House Inn itself. We took a couple seats at the bar which is a really beautiful copper topped bar. A number of dining tables near the entry way and then another dining area up a few steps, by the bar. Very much has the feel of a New England tavern. The beer list here is small. They have only four or five draft offerings, but they’re all from New England and mostly from New Hampshire. Settled on a kolsch from Great North which was nice. They have a small, but well done bottle list as well. Highlights include some of the typical offerings from Allagash a Maine Beer Co offering or two. Really good service here and the food is excellent. It’s not a cheap place, certainly. And there are definitely more economic options available in town. But it seems to be one of the places that offers a higher quality meal. |
