Great place. Went for the anniversary so can’t fairly judge it but definitely want to go back. Big tap list with lots of interesting stuff. Nice looking bar. Nice staff. So different from Ushitora which it is loosely connected to. Pretty much everything Ushitora does wrong, Hopman does right.

Awesome local bar/dinner located in the Chigasaki neighborhood. Now up to 30 taps, great selection of japanese micros (Oni-densetsu, Kyoto, Fujizakura, Ushitora...) and a handful of Californian brews, all in good condition, average prices. Food is excellent too with a focus on grilled meat and several other tasty seasonal dishes. Friendly and timely service. This place is a true gem, probably top 5 contender for tap selection and food in the whole Kanto area. Make sure you go there thirsty and hungry and you shouldn’t be disappointed.

Nice scene, a bit out of the way unless you live in Chigasaki. More like 23 taps now, and a pretty decent mix, also at reasonable prices. The beers we had were all in pretty good shape. Nice place.

Visited this care of Tim Maloney on pub crawl around the outer areas of Tokyo. This was a 5 min walk from Chigasaki station and if I hadn’t known where it was, up some stairs next to a vegetable grocers, I would have missed it. Inside is quite sophisticated with barmen in waistcoats and nice understated decor. Beer list is a really good range of Japanese craft beer and seasonals. Pints are served in British style pint glasses and right up to the pint mark, so you get your moneys worth. Prices are around 980 yen for a pint. List features about 20 beers so the range is pretty damn good. Would definitely come here again as the service was good and the beer quality fantastic. I had a Kinoni Pale Ale which was in top top condition. Highly recommended.
