Ten of their own beers were on at our stay; six on cask and four on tap, all of them available on a sample tray of five 1/3 pint glasses. The pub is located close to a roundabout, just a few minuets from the railway station. Half-moon bar in a medium size, quite classic pub room, including an open fire place. Helpful service. Our stay here was strengthened by good music from Kinks, Supremes and Oasis. (Visited with Finn 12.11.2021)

Finally stopped in here with the wife. Pretty decent selection of casks and taps. Even had a cider for my wife to try and she liked it. Service was friendly and helpful. Plenty of seating inside and out. Worth a visit within walking distance of the station.

8 cask, 4 keg plus some Brewshed cans and a couple of ciders available on this, my first visit (don't normally get to Bury on a Saturday). Quite modern interior, good service, friendly crowd. Small car park alongside with space for 6-8 cars. Closest place to station (which is worth a visit anyway). A place I'd visit more if it opened before 5 on a weekday.

Visited on 4th June 2017, Corner pub with a couple of rooms, plenty of seating in this fairly modern, plain bar area. Beer range is pretty good with several of their own beers on cask and keg plus local guests. Beer quality was solid. The service was good and prices good. Liked this place and the better of the two brewpubs in town

Small, slightly modern and comfortable, the Beerhouse smells of woodsmoke. I wonder to myself whether the fire has recently been burning or the advertised sticky ribs have been cooking away. Either way, it’s pleasant and welcoming. And so is the beer: about 8 cask (three Brewshed), 6 keg (1 Brewshed) and 3 ciders. Some of the keg is faux-craft (e.g. Marston’s latest forays) but I counted nine possible ticks in all. More beer-led, slightly less trad and a trifle earthier than the Old Cannon, I think I may prefer this place. Any beer in Bury that isn’t Greene King gets my vote, and the Beerhouse’s proximity to the railway station only enhances its innate attractiveness. If I was being picky I could point out that it took a little longer to get served than I’d like considering the unbusy-ness of the bar, but I’m okay with that. Oh, and Brewshed beers are decent, nothing too terribly special but certainly drinkable.

Good spot to find a few beers not offered in a few of the other pubs in town. Good beer fests that cater to the wants of the customer.

One of the top 3 beer houses in Bury St. Edmunds. A great selection of ever changing local beers. They have beer festivals and meet the brewer sessions. Check Twitter for their latest beers and the website for events.
