88 This place is out of town but worth the taxi fare to get out there.
Good selection of UK, US, AU and NZ beer.
Nice staff that were into beer and able to give good recommendations. |
94 Have been visiting this place for about two years now. And every time I go there is always something new, I think the beer wall count is over 700 different beers and ciders now. knowledgable and passionate staff and with the beer club card you get 10% off all single beers purchased. My only concern would be the freshness of some beers as only a few are refrigerated and having such a massive range some could be on the shelf for a long time. |
86 Great range, worth the drive up to Belair for sure. They have a lot of the beers you don’t find at Goodwood Cellars or North Adelaide. And they seem to be put out with much more respect and reverence than their city counterparts. The great wall of beer is a sight to behold. |
94 Wow! About time Adelaide had a place like this. There would have to be over 700 beers in store now with the biggest Mikkeller and Haand Bryggeriete range I have ever seen. Really good knowledgeable staff that were friendly and the prices were pretty competitive. Do yourself a favour and get in for a look- you’ll be blown away! |
90 Wow. What a selection...
Would have to be the best and largest selection of Craft Beer and Cider In South Australia.
Helpful and knowledgable service. |
68 I have to rewrite my review of this place as it has improved vastly since I last visited. The range is now quite extensive in the international beers and the appearance of Mikeller, HaandBryggeriet, Nøgne Ø, North Coast, all the Trappist breweries (except Westveltern), Hitachino Nest, and an extended range of Sierra Nevada, Rogue and Green Flash makes this one of the more diverse ranges I have seen in Adelaide. Still quite small and I doubt more than 200 beers if that, but if you are looking for either major international craft brewers, British beer (which has also vastly improved), or local micros, it is worth a stop. Prices unfortunately look a little higher.
Update again: There would be more than 200 beers to choose from now, however the prices a dearer and to say I had some bad service in an understatement. I suspect the cashier try to add a little something else to my purchase for himself, I had to ask for the receipt (I was not given one) and low and behold there was a six pack I didn’t buy, but paid for. |
